Nilima’s takes pride
in bringing in authentic, home-made, fresh, and healthy vegetarian/vegan Indian
food dishes to the people of Stillwater. This food captures thousands of years
of Indian culture, with tantalizing flavors and aromas refined by generations.
In 2009, Nilima’s
home-based commercial kitchen facility started an advance order delivery
service. We served hundreds of fresh and mouthwatering lunches and catered a
variety of delicious Indian snacks and sweets to the local community. The
initial customer base mostly included students and employees of Oklahoma State
University.
Later in the summer
of 2010, Nilima’s became the member of the Stillwater’s Farmer’s Market and
started a food tent-based “Carryout” service at Farmer’s market locations (Strickland park & Pioneer square in Stillwater),
and since then has served thousands of home-made, fresh and healthy curries,
breads, sweets, and snacks to Stillwater residents and other
market visitors.
Nilima’s opened at the present
location (NE of Elm and Knoblock) in 2011. It has a licensed kitchen facility
dedicated exclusively for cooking vegetarian and vegan-type authentic food
dishes and sweets from India. Fresh vegetables, grocery, and other items required
in operating the kitchen are procured from the reputed local suppliers. Only
olive and canola oil is used. Nilima’s serves lunches from 11AM to 2PM on Monday through Friday.
We proudly state that Nilima’s is the only place in Stillwater which offers a variety of authentic, fresh and healthy food dishes from India. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
